We have older HP laserjet printers which are being detected without any issues.

A new model HP Laserjet P1606DN is not being detected as a printer.

Please see attachment on how it is detected. What can I do/change/look for to fix this and any related printers in the future?

The screenshot you have attached shows a printer asset. However, it wasn't scanned with SNMP which is why you don't see details such as toner status. In order to resolve this, you need to
  • ensure that SNMP is enabled on the affected device
  • enter the correct SNMP credential and map it to the IP range of the printer under Configuration\Scanning credentials
  • under Configuration\Scanning methods, section IP Address Range scanning, initiate a new scan of the IP range of this printer. Alternatively open its asset page and hit Rescan asset.

Detailed instructions on how to scan network devices can be found in this KB article.
