Champion Sweeper II
Hello, does anybody tried the new Linux file scanning feature ?

I've been dabbling with it, mainly as a way to get CrowdStrike version information on Lansweeper, but the results are not that great...

For instance, getting the info for /opt/Crowdstrike/README gives me following :

LS File Scan Linux

Lansweeper staff, there is also no documentation on Linux file scanning, how it is done, which commands are used, which information is retrieved, that kind of information. Can you follow up on that also ?

Hello,

I've passed along your message about the documentation internally.

You can find the info retrieved here: https://www.lansweeper.com/asset/linux/

"scan any Linux file or directory to get details on the name, size, type, last accessed, created, and more"

Here's an example:

The commands used are these commands with varying options:

  • echo
  • ls
  • file
  • find
