Hi everyone,

we are using Lansweeper with about 400 instances of Windows Pc´s.
If we scan all instances it only shows about 250 Monitors which are automatically recognized.

In some cases it recognize both Monitors and sometimes just one of them.
they are all listed as PnP Monitors from different Brands and they are connected via VGA, HDMI or DVI.

in most cases both Monitors of one Instance are connected the same way (both VGA) but just one Monitor is listed in the relation assets.

Does somebody has any idea?

Thanks

I used monitorinfoview and found out, that both Monitors (same brand, same model) have the same serialnumber
the only differenz is the serial key.

could this have something to do with the PnP configuration? Do i have to install the drivers for the monitors manually?

You can also do a double check with monitorinfoview: https://www.nirsoft.net/utils/monitor_info_view.html

It pulls data from a similar source as Lansweeper.

Agreed, also seen this with various VGA connections whereas the digital HDMI, DP etc tend to be more reliable. Some monitors will show on VGA, but its dependant on the monitor.

Have you tried changing any of the connections to HDMI or DVI (where possible) we have a few monitors connected via VGA and they are not detected, probably due to the use of convertors.
