Engaged Sweeper

Good Morning,

Is there a way to use LAPS information contained in the active directory to scan and deploy applications from Lansweeper  ?

Is this a planned development soon?

Thanks

Albin

As of March 2023, LAPS is available in Lansweeper. More information on How to scan a Windows computer with LAPS can be found in this article.

Fair warning, that it isn't without issues. I am still waiting for your colleagues to fix it.

@aliechti

Unfortunately, Lansweeper currently has no option to use LAPS password management for deployments.

We've added this feature to our customer wishlist as a feature request. Feature requests are prioritized based on customer demand and difficulty in implementation.

Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee this will be implemented or provide you with an expected release date.

LAPS should be high up on your list...

I find LAPS more important than the "cloud" UI.

You can always VPN into the Lansweeper server...

Last week we had our first LS360 online user event. It was communicated there that LAPS is currently being looked at by our product team as there is a high demand from our user base to implement LAPS.

Very good news!
It would be really great, in terms of security, that's the basis 😉

That is great news! PDQ has had LAPS support for about 5 years now...

It's time Lansweeper also supports it.
