Eventlog Alerts

How do I make eventlog alerts work? I've added an alert name with conditions, enabled it, set a valid mailgroup and enabled eventlog log alert mailing. I generated the alert an a device and rescanned the device, but no alert was emailed.

It looks like scheduled event log scanning needs to be enabled for this to work. Once that is enabled alerts are generated.

It should also work without the scheduled eventlog

Could you please upload screenshots of all your settings.
any errors in the errorlog.txt file?
