Change Asset State Name

Is there a way to change the built in asset state "Stolen" to "Lost/Stolen" ?

My question is how does lansweeepr determine the state of an asset as Stolen, or In Repair, or Doesn't show. I have looked in the DB dictionary and the site for clarification but I have not found anything as to how to determine how an asset recieves a state.

If I updated the Statename in tblState, what would happen?

Built-in states cannot be modified or deleted, but you can add your own under Configuration\Asset Pages.
