When reading out Linux Devices (eg.: IGEL UD 2LX)
My Asset Name is "Error: the requested application is not allowed."

Who is the Asset Name read out on a Linux Device?

There is a KB Article with a list of "applications"/commands used to gather Informations from Linux Devices. I allowed all of them in my IGEL Config, but still the Name is not probably set.

The easiest way to find what field is being used as the name for the asset would be to do a test with performed to the asset with devicetester.exe, which can be found in Program Files (x86)\Lansweeper\Actions on your Lansweeper server. Perform the test from your Lansweeper server to the problem machine, submit any relevant (SNMP or SSH) credentials.

The field which is used for the name depends on what information is available.
