I've been playing around with the feature tying to come up with ideas on how best to leverage. Best ideas I can come up with are checking to see if a program is installed, and then applying an update or maybe sending pop up messages to users? Running uninstallers.

How does the community leverage Package Deployment? I'm exceptionably curious as to how complex they could get.

One way I use the deployment feature is to create a report that finds out of date software, then updates it when the system is scanned by Lansweeper.

For instance, when Adobe Reader is updated, I download the installer for Adobe, change the version condition in my Adobe deployment, change the version of Adobe in my report, and set the deployment to run on the computers in the report that lists only the computers that have adobe out of date.
