Mac inventory with random, otp?

Hello all,

Without going into too much detail -- we have an interesting conundrum that I'd like to ask for some advice on:

We're instituting automatic password changing on our local admin accounts throughout our fleet that will change at "X day" intervals and will be different on a per-machine basis-- my question is "Is SSH really the only way to inventory/scan a non-Windows OS?" Has anyone else had an occasion to develop some other solution for their mac/linux fleet? Is there support for integration with a secrets manager (Thycotic) to account for this kind of setup? If not, can there be?

We don't currently integrate with password management systems. Technically, Lansweeper can pull data from any of the following protocols: FTP, HTTP, HTTPS, JetDirect, MOB (Managed Object Browser), SIP, SMTP, SNMP (SNMPv1, SNMPv2 or SNMPv3), SSH, Telnet, WMI. SSH is preferred for Linux and Mac as it returns the most data, but information could be pulled from SNMP as well for instance.
