I installed LanSweeper as a SQL Compact database but now want to write some SharePoint plugins to grab data from the DB.

Is it possible to move the database from Compact to a full SQL Server?

We do not currently provide support for moving SQL Compact databases to SQL Server or vice versa. Such a move would require custom programming, as these two database servers are completely different from one another. For Lansweeper 5.1, we will most likely develop a migration tool. Lansweeper 5.1 won’t be released for at least another few months however.

You can reinstall under SQL Server by running the Lansweeper installer and choosing New Installation\Advanced Install.

Thanks, I'll look forward to 5.1 then 🙂
