Engaged Sweeper

Not sure if im just misusing the 'state' status. We started syncing to Lansweeper online to provide vulnerability reports. But one big annoyance for reports on our setup is they generally include both 'active' and 'non-active' assets. If i create a custom report, its easy enough to filter out. We use non-active as devices that are no longer in production. Usually its a PC thats been replaced/retired. many times, we want to keep that legacy data around incase we need to look at the history of something. but i dont want them showing up in vulnerability reports or other default reports (like outdated OS).
Am i treating non-active wrong? or is there a setting to not include non-active by default?

Hi @RichFinch1

You are using the active/non-active status correctly in this case. The assets are marked as active or non-active according to the configuration of the Atumated Clean-up options: https://community.lansweeper.com/t5/lansweeper-maintenance/perform-automated-database-cleanups/ta-p/...

To display only Active assets in the reports, you would need to modify the report. You can do so by clicking on the duplicate report button:

The report editor will open, you need to add a filter condition for the State Name to be equal to Active:

Don't forget to save your modified report! 😉
