Engaged Sweeper

We are having problems with the built-in "Computer: Warranty overview" report not showing the warranties for Surface Pro 7 devices. After working on this issue with LanSweeper Support we found that LanSweeper essentially scrapes the various manufacturer's warranty check pages for this information. In the case of Microsoft Surface devices they hide the data behind a Captcha check, which of course stops this process dead. Support has told us that there have been no alternative methods found to access this data. I'm wondering if there is any way to request the info from Microsoft B2B that could accommodate this usage. Is anyone else experiencing similar issues with this report and other manufacturers?

Hello there, just jumping on this.  I have an export of the warranty information from Surface Management Portal

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/intune/fundamentals/surface-management-portal

Is there any way that this information can be imported into Lansweeper, please note the assets are already in Lansweeper, but keen to avoid having to manually enter the dates.

Hello there!

Unfortunately, we currently do not have a feature to update existing assets by importing a file.

Hello there!

Lansweeper performs an automated warranty check and scanning for assets whose manufacturer is Dell, Fujitsu, HP, IBM, Lenovo, or Toshiba/Dynabook. Scanning Microsoft warranty is on our customer wishlist, but this feature is not in active development. So to clarify, we are not scraping the website of Microsoft currently.
