History
Lansweeper was created in the early 2000’s for a SysAdmin by a SysAdmin. It was originally created to simplify data collection of assets on the network, making his work easier by replacing (easily outdated) Excel sheets by dynamic WMI queries. Throughout the years it has become a versatile tool for IT reporting with multiple additions and improvements.

Prerequisites
The only prerequisite is that you need to have some basic IT fundamentals knowledge. If you aren’t a user of Lansweeper yet, you are invited to create a trial account or visit our demo site.
