With our current product offering, you technically do not move your on-premise setup to the cloud but rather link your on-premise setup with the cloud. As such, you will not lose your on-premises installation.
How it works
When you link to Lansweeper Sites, the main scan server is designated as the "sync server". This sync server:
- Continues to function as a regular scan server
- Takes on the additional responsibility of synchronizing your installation's data with Lansweeper Sites
- Maintains all existing on-premises functionality
Your installation and data remain intact - the sync server adds cloud synchronization capabilities to your existing setup.
