Would you recommend to install LS Agent on Laptops?
Lansweeper includes several scanning methods to scan the assets in your network. You can scan the Linux, Unix, Mac, and Windows computers, VMware servers, and other devices in your network without installing any Lansweeper software on the machines you're scanning. However, with today's remote workforce it might be difficult to meet the scanning requirements for agentless scanning. Lansweeper’s LsAgent is the ideal solution for this.
LsAgent is a lightweight, cross-platform program that can be installed on various employee devices (Windows, Linux, and Mac), regardless of whether they are part of a domain or workgroup. The LsAgent collects an inventory from the device installed and sends this data back to your Lansweeper installation. This can be done through a VPN connection or IP tunnel. But even without a VPN, you can use the Lansweeper Relay to push the data to your Lansweeper installation.
This setup allows you to maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date inventory.
