Great tool, would like to understand the following:

  • when you plan to introduce database inventory in Lansweeper on-prem including the inventory using database credentials.
  • when you will support the inventory of databases hosted in linux servers with the current stand alone tool.

Thks!

Hi Mario

Thanks for sharing your feedback!

Re your first question - currently we cannot guarantee this will end up in the Lansweeper product but this might be the case one day depending on usage and feedback.

We have good news on your second question!
This month, a newer version will be available of the database scanner including Linux servers!

Think this can become a great addition to the framework. Databases and sql express servers are all over the place without the appropriate management..

Engaged Sweeper III

When I try to launch the application, I get a message that states Invalid Version.  Does it require specific ports to be open or am I missing something?
