Hello,
I keep having the same error on multiple machines, and have tried to fix it with no results. Here is what I tried so far :
- http://www.lansweeper.com/kb/accessdenied.aspx ALL 6 of these steps, over and over again
- Checking the queue on http://lansweeperserver:9524
- Rebooting PCs
- Checking the Firewall and RPC related errors
- DNS entries, not cleaning them which might explain some of them, but a few of these entries are clean
- DHCP entries, same thing as above
- AD architecture for GPOs or other things that might conflict with scans
- Connection tester is OK (no FAILED message on IP, FQDN or NETBIOS)
Main error is this :
Access is denied 0x80070005 (COMPUTERFQDN, COMPUTER, 1.2.3.4)
I also sometimes get this error :
Wmierror Call was canceled by the message filter. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80010002 (RPC_E_CALL_CANCELED)) COMPUTER (COMPUTERFQDN)
I'm not sure what else I could try, I searched around forums a few times with different keywords, but nothing fixed my problem. If anyone could bring suggestions to try and fix it that would be awesome.
