Having an order module, where you can type in, for example, suppliers, an order, and check in when the order has been sent, paid for, received, etc. maybe even with conversion to actual Assets once items have been received. - Not all parts of the order may arrive at the same time.
Some items would maybe not show up as assets, but just consumables, but may still be interesting to track in terms of the ordering itself.
There's a lot of ways to do this, but current support of it is basically just putting an asset into "Order" status, and typing in an order number, but that's not a fully fledged way of handing the order to asset process - and I'd imagine most would have some practical use for this.
