I am running servers on different sites, some with clients on a nat-network. On those networks, it is not possible to scan the clients from outsite the nat'ed network.
Therefore I will run lsservice on a server on earch site.

On those sites, where the client is not running in a nat'ed network, I can choose to only run lsservice on a server on each site or use a central server to scan those clients.

The sites are connected to earch other with ADSL, so I prefere to use the solution with the lowest bandwidth usage. What do you recommand?

BTW: I've just succeded to install your software, and have not used it yet. But it looks really promising. I'm looking forward to version 3 - especially the report-function.

Let your clients connect to a service running in their site.
Let the services in the 2 sites connect to one shared database.
This should do the trick

Yes - no problem. Actually the servers are providing the nat'ed network, so they have ip on both the "real" net and the nat'ed net

Can the 2 connections connect to a shared sql server (using natting?)
