This can be done by clicking on the Assets tab and then clicking Mass edit assets in the left column under Asset actions. First, you need to select the assets you would like to edit by checking the checkbox next to them (mass select is also possible). Then click on Mass edit assets, which will allow you to select the field you want to edit or change.
