Is there any way to scan the serial number or service tag of a Docking station? As there is no option to track these assets, we need that feature. When is it coming?

Lansweeper currently does not scan docking stations specifically but rather is added to the asset page of laptop assets. Docking station information is pulled from WMI (Windows Management Instrumentation), a management framework built into Windows operating systems. If the laptop is connected to the docking station during the scan, the docking station may be listed in the Config/Hardware/System Chassis section of the laptop’s Lansweeper webpage, but only if this is being reported by WMI, which may not be the case for all docking stations.

So, if you want to track your docking stations as separate assets, you would indeed need to create them manually, and manually created assets will count against your license.
