To configure a set of devices to use only the LSAgent scan, follow these steps:
1. Install LSAgent on Devices:
Ensure the LSAgent is installed on all the devices you want to scan.
You can distribute the LSAgent installer through various deployment methods, such as Lansweeper Deployment Packages, Group Policy, SCCM, or manually for individual devices
.2. Configure Lansweeper:
- Go to the Lansweeper web console.
- Navigate to Scanning> LsAgent Scanning.
- Click on the Default group, or move the asset to a new group.
- Click on Configuration tab, then enable LsAgent only checkbox.
4. Disable Other Scanning Methods (optional):
- To ensure that only LSAgent is used, disable other scanning methods for these devices in the Scan time > Scan targets tab or set additional Scan exclusion.
5. Verify Configuration:
- After configuration, verify that scans are successfully run using only LSAgent by checking the logs and scan results.
