Hello,
We have a problem with the active scanning option. It only scans itself (scan server). When we set up IP range scanning - this type of scanning works.

Can it be connected with Domain Credentials settings? The domain account is also used by IP range scanning? Or only by Active scanning?

What could be the reason for this problem?

To correctly set up Active Scanning you must:
- Submit your scanning credentials under Scanning Options\Scanning Credentials.
- Submit your domain for scanning under Scanning Servers\Your Server\Active Scanning. Make sure you use the correct DNS and NetBIOS name. Also make sure that the "Enable Active Scanning" checkbox is checked.

Scanning methods use the scanning credentials submitted under Scanning Options\Scanning Credentials. Active Scanning automatically finds the correct credentials based on the domain you submitted. For IP Range Scanning you must enter a "DefaultDomain", so the scanning method knows which credentials to use.
