Can i change the software report to show the exact version

Hi,

I am using the software report to show the version of software that is installed on the machines in my domain, but the version number column will only show the first three numbers E.G 1.00.124

I would like it to go a little further and show the first four numbers E.G - 1.00.124.5

How is this possible.

No, it is not possible to change the way software information is collected. You will have to perform custom registry scans if you wish to scan different registry values.

Ok thanks, i have just found the reg key that it uses, Is there a way i can get it to display a differnet key value?

The softwareVersion field from tblSoftware already shows the complete version number as scanned from the registry.
