Several weeks after converting a physical server to a virtual one, I tried deleting the Purchase\Warranty dates since they no longer applied. I cleared the fields, but when I clicked 'Save changes' the same values reappeared. I had to open the configuration utility and delete the server. Once it was rescanned, the dates were empty.
