Disaster recovery plan - Restore of a LANSweeper installation

We need a disaster recovery plan. If a LANSweeper web interface server crashes or has to be reinstalled, how do we connect a fresh installation of LANSweeper (i.e. 3.5.1.28957) to an existing database on an external SQL Server? Scratching the database is not an option. Is the procedure exactly the same as moving it to another server?

You need to change the "connectionstring" in files web.config (website) and lansweeperservice.Exe.config (service)

Can you please specify the configuration files to be changed?

You can do a fresh install and then restore the backed up database over the freshly installed.
Or you can point the config files to another database.
