I have configured a few Eventlog Alerts, and the basic function (scanning alerts and mailing them) works fine.
Unfortunately, there are duplicate events/emails created, i.e. I got multiple e-mails about the same event, typically a few hours to a day apart.
For example:
Email 1:
Sent: Tue 3/22/2011 7:36 PM
Alert: IAANTmon - 7003
Computer: computer1
Time: 03/21/2011 07:29:39
EventID: 7003
Source: IAANTmon
Email2:
Sent: Wed 3/23/2011 4:37 AM
Alert: IAANTmon - 7003
Computer: computer1
Time: 03/21/2011 07:29:39
EventID: 7003
Source: IAANTmon
This is definitely the same event, yet Lansweeper sent more than 1 e-mail.
Is this known? Or a configuration issue?
EVENTLOG wait time is 0, if that has any relevance.
