Hi,

I have struggeled with my TrendMicro Firewall. I can't figure out which ports to open to get the lstrigger to work (also the auto scan when PC becomes availeble). It works on all my dekstop machines (they don't have any firewall active) but all laptops have the same scan problems. I have tried opening port 135, 136, 445, 593 and 9524 without solving the problem. When opening all ports or disabeling the TM firewall it works just fine.

Any suggestions? Which ports am I missing??

This is the list of ports needed:

Service to SQL
1433 UDP SQL Browser Port
1938 TCP SQL Instance Port

Website to SQL
1433 UDP SQL Browser Port
1938 TCP SQL Instance Port

Clients to Service (if lsclient or lstrigger is used)
9524 TCP

Service to clients
135 TCP DCOM to Establish Session for WMI
Random ? WMI Data

WMI first connects on port 135, then it uses random ports.
