Just a couple of machines not reporting in...

I have 3.1 Installed. Out of the 150 devices only 10 are not reporting. They are all reporting The network path was not found. We have turned off the firewall on our LAN via Group policy. I have checked the remote registry service is set to auto and is running.

I ran the connection tester and here are the results.

Ping test OK
-----------------------------------------------
Remote registry test OK
-----------------------------------------------
Remote WMI access test OK
-----------------------------------------------
Remote \\192.168.1.15\c$ access test OK

Also it appears that the Lsclient.exe is failing on these desktops in our logon script...

Not sure whats going on here. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

EDIT! - Now it actually appears that LSclient.exe is failing from everywhere. Even when run from command prompt...

When you open your services MMC do you see the lansweeper service and can you start it?

I just did a netstat -a... 9524 isnt even on the list of listening ports. What the hell is going on. There is 2 lansweeper entries on the firewall for that port. Furthermore, I had the firewall turned off anyways.. I tried going to 127.0.0.1:9524, Page is not displaying. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

From the day I installed it, I never made any changes.... I'll look through the config. Any suggestions? SQL express and Lansweeper are on the same server.


Edit - Okay I checked my Config file. It looks okay. Where do I verify that lssqluser31 is properly being used with the password set it with in the config file. Is there something I need to do with sqlexpress? I followed the guide closely...

As you can see from the log, the service cannot connect to your database server:

I wasnt sure which services you were reffering to so. I checked to make sure, remote registry is running on these boxes.
I also made sure that the lansweeper service is running. It was and I went ahead and restarted the service as well. This is service is running under our domain admin account.
