Can information be added manually to the system, if I can't get this to work?

If you use msaccess or something alike you can directly edit the database (at your own risk)

If it works on the other workgroup computers I suggest:

rebuilding WMI on this machine
If it doesn't work use procmon.exe to check for detailed access denied errors.

The firewall is turned off, but I put in those rules anyways. I can't turn off simple file sharing, it's a limitation of Windows XP Home. Still getting access denied errors across the board. Any other ideas?

Try this to setup the firewall:

call netsh firewall set service RemoteAdmin enable
call netsh firewall add portopening protocol=tcp port=135 name=DCOM_TCP135
call netsh firewall add allowedprogram program=%windir%\system32\wbem\unsecapp.exe name=WMI
call netsh firewall add allowedprogram program=%windir%\system32\dllhost.exe name=Dllhost

Also check to see that simple file sharing is disabled.

Hmm I have all my other computers working well in the Workgroup, Windows XP Pro, Vista Business, Windows 7 Home Premium. I'm not sure what's hanging up the Windows XP Home version. I have downed the firewall, set the administrator password the same as the server credentials. The connection tester says access denied and the web interface says RPC server not available.

Any tips on how to configure it? I am currently getting an Access Denied error from the Lansweeper connection tester.

In the current version a workgroup is not supported (but it should work)

See : http://www.lansweeper.com/kb/workgroup.aspx
(needs premium version for the alternate credentials)

If you configure it properly (which can be tricky) yes.
