Dear team,
I am using several lansweeper installation. My main concern is mostly the mechanism how duplicates are handled.
In my last installation I have a mixture of scanning IP ranges and using agents for home office / remote office users.
Mostly I have a conflict based on different domain names which lansweeper usese to generate the uid. Last time all vms of a esxi host are registerd with contoso.local and the lsagent reports the windows machine as contoso only. So I have two different machines.
To make this behaviour better it would be great to have a kind of similarity mapping where you can add domains to a group and this group is treaten as one dns name.
So you can solve this problem and even in case of migrating the domain, Office365 intune or any other change lansweeper will recognize it at the same system.
Or is there any other to solution to get this up and running correctly without fiddling in the IP ranges and make complicated assignments?
Thank you in advance
