Hello have premium version 4.00.102 and Lansweeper will not detech Laptops that connect to our domain with a Sprint card using Netmotion out in the field. The port appears to be open and we can remote into the Netmotion IP fine.
We want to be able to see what users have logged on to their laptops in the field.
Lansweeper will just not report on the laptop. I tried using IP range but did not detech. any suggestions?

Looks like on the laptops that are in the field they get the RPC error below.
it seems to detect and update the Net motion IP, but does not give the Last user login information that is needed by us.
The RPC server is unavailable 0x800706BA (CORG0WFA08973.CORP.COX.COM, CORP\CORG0WFA08973\1, 10.64.77.185)

See the troubleshooting guide, the RPC unavailable is caused by firewall problems.

Is the problem that you don't see the computer in the database or do you see it with an error?
You can try "lsclient /scanopip" from the laptop.
