lsclient problem

I canot get lsclient to work on client machines connecting to the server . I have used the default script provided . I have insured that port 9524 TCP and UDP is opened on firewall policy for client and server. I have used the testconnection program on the server machine to the client machine and all tests are OK

Ping test OK
-----------------------------------------------
Remote registry test OK
-----------------------------------------------
Remote WMI access test OK

I have used the script as a startup script as a Logon script and not startup , why is lsclient faiiling ?? how can I insure that it works properly

Thanks , I feel really stupid. the service was not running , everything is cool now

Could you post the output of your lsclient please.
Did you manually try running lsclient on a client to test?

You only need to open the port on the server.
Also make sure that the service is indeed running on the server, you can find errors in the "errorlog.txt" file in the service folder.
