I am working on getting LanSweeper part of our Domain here at my company.

My manager has asked if Lansweeper will work with a Novell Active Directory.

I have not found much information on the forms and wondering if any could give some insight.

Thanks,

Tim

We have not gone ahead with novell. This was for a sister company, we have decided to move ahead with my company. As we are doing structure changes this year and are getting rid of novell. Sorry I couldn't help further.

Tim,

Any update on your testing in a Novell NetWare environment? I read through the documentation and wondered if lsclient could simply be run from a NetWare (6.5 in my case) login script (@servername\volumename:path\lsclient.exe) specifying the name of the LanSweeper "server" by IP address instead of by name. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

If you run the lansweeperservice with an account with administrator permissions on all machines it should work.

You can try the free version with lsclient.

Okay not the answer I was looking for.

Is there any out there that has it installed in a Novell environment.

If it works it's not supported. (and not tested)
