Hi,
If we rename a computer but everything else is the same, Lansweeper will identify it as a completely different entry in the database. Is there a way to do a "rename" operation in the database or configuration console when doing this? I am also wondering if renaming an entry in the tblComputers table can create problems for the other tables.
We are using Lansweeper 3.5.2 but I think this is a general concept which can be applied to all versions of Lansweeper.
Thanks

If you rename a computer in table tblcomputers it is automatically renamed in all other tables. Do this before renaming the actual computer.
Version 4.x has a right click/rename function in the configuration tool.
