I've installed lansweeper and the service doesnt seem to be running

I checked the errorlog.txt and this is what im getting

3/19/2010 2:54:20 PM: Cannot connect to database, check your config file, will try again in 1 minute
Login failed for user 'lansweeperuser'.

Also, there isnt anything in the install documentation on what to call the database. I found the name "lansweeperdb" towards the back of the install document and we manually created that DB on our SQL server and connected to it.

Do I need to create tables in that somehow?

First you need to select only database on the database server, then on the other server select service and website and connect to the database created in the first step

SQL was already installed on another server.

When the install got to the Database Configuration, I specified the name of our SQL server.

It siad that it couldnt find the database, so we figured it needed to be created manually since there isnt much in the documentation about creating the db on an existing sql server.

What is the correct way to set that up?

Was the SQL server already installed before you started the setup or did the setup installed the SQL?

The database "lansweeperdb" is created automatically.
Could you post your install.log file please.
