Hello,

I'm testing high availability with SQL2005, and I've chosen Lansweeper to test it, now I face a strange problem related with lack of authorizations:
- when I use the Principal database, everything runs ok.
- if I change from the principal to the mirror database, Lansweeper web application complains about lack of authorization to the tables.

I've added the lssqluser as dbo of Lansweeper database (to the mirror db) but still it give the same error, am I missing something or shouldn't the mirror be created with the same authorizations and users as the Principal database? Or this is only related with the mixed mode authentication of MS SQL 2005?

Any ideas are welcome. Thanks!

Yes I've tried that but without any luck, I will try to apply a requested hotfix (Microsoft sent me the link), they do mention some problems with mirroring maybe it's now fixed (by the way it's about 120 Mb of hotfixes post SP2)...

If you make lssqluser also owner on the mirrored database it shouldn't be a problem.
