In the previous version 4.0 (and 4.1 I assume) there was a way to trigger a manual computer scan (custom action), using the following syntax: \\server\share\LStrigger.exe LSServer {computer} {domain}

Is that still actual and also is it similar for LSpush.exe?

LsTrigger is still available. It has the same functionality as clicking Full Rescan in the web console and is mostly provided for backwards compatibility. This scanning method only works for computers that are already in the database. The Lansweeper service does all of the actual scanning.
More information on LsTrigger, including how to run it from the command line, can be found on page 55 of our online documentation.

LsPush works for all computers, including those that have not yet been scanned. The LsPush.exe takes a full local inventory of the client machine by itself and does not rely on the Lansweeper service to perform the scan. This makes it ideal for scanning the computers of your remote workers.
More information on LsPush can be found in this knowledge base article. LsPush is in its final beta stage. Our latest beta installer can be found here. After installation you'll find the executable in Program Files/Lansweeper/Client.
