Updating Lansweeper to 3.5.1

When I want to upgrade Lansweeper to 3.5.1 do I just install the new updated version on my server and it keeps all my settings in place? Or do I have to start all over and set up everything again such as SQL Express, domains to scan, premium activation etc?

You need to download the update package so you can keep your current data.
