i assume items with a 'wait time' = -1 are never scanned? if that's true, any particular reason why some items are set that way by default while others aren't?

I was interested in the "proxy" item. Before turning it on, can you tell me what is provided with this scan?

Which proxy server is set on the machine (this takes almost no data, just one record per machine maximum)

This is correct.

Some items are set to "-1" by default because almost nobody used them in 3.5 and they took a lot of space.
