Engaged Sweeper II

I am verifying a Lansweeper installation and I have a question. Within the best practices, which user should use to send the installation of our packages, a user with an administration level in the Domain or a user with a local administration level on the workstations and servers?

Thank you.

Enzo.

Hello @enzoly

If you are using the Lansweeper On-Premises installation that includes the "Deployment" feature, there are two places that proper permissions need to be configured.

1. the share where the installation package is stored

2. the target machine

So, the deployment user (Deployment > Security options) will need to have permissions to both the storage folder and the target machine.

Here's a KB for Deployment Requirements. See if this helps you diagnose what's going on.
