Workflow for Free Apps Deployment

I'd like to create a workflow for free apps deployments like 7zip,notepad++,irfanview,ecc. 
Where do I start from?

Note: We use Lansweeper Onprem joined do the Cloud.

It really depends what products you use for deployment. Some options:

• Intune
• PDQ
• Teamviewer

I believe an SCCM/Microsoft Configuration Manager is being worked on, but not yet available.

That won't be possible, on-prem doesn't have an API to address to receive any kind of workflows.

If you're just looking to deploy with on-prem, you'll need to use the tools available in on-prem to create a deployment package and deploy it.

I'm curious what exactly are you trying to do that you cannot do in the on-prem deployment?

We already use it with hundred of deployments, but my needing would be to create  workflow like this:

1- User open a ticket, asking for one of those free software (or may be some custom software we need to deploy)

2- A workflow starts and deploys 7zip/... on the user pc that raised the ticket. Is this possible? How to do it specifically? Thanks!

Its great to have a bit more context so that at the very least we can keep it in mind for any future connections or actions we might want to add to the workflow builder. As I mentioned its not possible right now in the workflow beta.

Leaving the workflow builder aside, the only way I see that this would be possible right now is by creating a report on-prem with assets that do not have 7-zip installed, and that have a ticket where a specific phrase or word is in the body or title (depending on how you run things).

You can then create a deployment package that is scheduled to run every X hours using that report as a target list (just make sure to enable rescan after depoyment).

We already use that kind of deployment but the 7zip deployment is only an example. My goal would be to automate other tasks like AD user creation, AD user group assignment, ecc. 

I know it's a beta but I use LSW since at least 10 years and I couldn't wait for workflows to come.
Is there a list of what could be done at the moment? Are templates goind to be added by LSW?

You can get a list of all the actions available in the Lansweeper connector and details about the fields you can get or edit here: https://community.lansweeper.com/t5/connectors/lansweeper-connector/ta-p/85179. Feedback on this documentation is also highly welcome.

We also have a few templates available today. You can find them in the popup window when you create a new workflow. We are also looking to expand this list of templates.

About your specific use cases:

- AD user creation: we can't create AD users today, not even in our UI. But I am curious why you would need to create an AD user, as we are scanning AD users automatically. Can you please elaborate on the use case?

- AD user group assignment: we are working on a Product Improvement (not related to Flow builder) to automatically assign Lansweeper Sites users to AD groups, but I am not sure if this is your case. Can you also give us more details on this one?

Which AD are you using?
