In the new configuration that allows you to define from what number of devices connected to a switch port is set as "Uplink" you could add an option to filter the types of devices you want to be seen, for example: switches and wifi access points, but not printers, IP phones or computers.
This option would allow to give the basic information of network electronics connected to a port configured as Trunk.
