Hi Lansweeper Community,
we are actual using on prem version of Lansweeper in our Product Team. My Team is interested to see a kind of product / release / feature roadmap for the on prem version. Is something like that available? Maybe also showing when or if you plan to make a kind of cut for further investigations on the on prem version, cause you will take the focus more and stronger on the cloud product.
Thanks a lot
Enrico

We remain committed to supporting our community of users that choose our on-prem offering without connecting the Lansweeper Sites. This involves any updates, fixes and changes needed to maintain our current scope of functionality within on-prem, and we will be sharing a list of the updates that have been made in our next launch communications. The majority of our focus lies on the advancement of our cloud capabilities, including the launch of our newly developed, cloud native discovery in November (please stay tuned for that announcement). We are also working diligently on removing any barriers for our users to adopt our cloud offering, and we have some great new functionality being announced before the end of the year that will, I'm sure, give you a different view of the Lansweeper platform in the cloud.
I'd love to invite you for a more detailed discussion to understand more about how you use Lansweeper today and how the soon-to-be state can support you - please feel free to send me a message to organise that.
I hope that helps

Hi, the best I could find about like a road map is in the following link:
It seems like all the efforts are focused in making the sites version comparable to the on prem and almost no new features will be developed for the on prem version.
In the following download link you can find that there is beta available:
https://www.lansweeper.com/product/update-lansweeper/
It is labeled as Version 12.0.0.6 and includes an upgrade to .NET 8 and some bug fixes. Nothing else. The latest migration to a new version of .NET included many many bugs that took too much time to fix.

LS 12 is released.

Did you test LS 12 beta?

Hi Mr, i haven't tested LS 12 beta yet as it will imply upgrading one of the production servers. As mentioned before, we had really bad experience with previous versions that introduced too many bugs (had to spend lots of time making tests and researching the root cause). We only decide to upgrade if a new release included a fix for a bug that was impacting a functionality.
Hope that LS can improve the QA of it's on prem solution and that many features requested for so many years by lots of customers can happen some day (my best wishes).
My opinion is that LS sites is still no there yet to justify its features vs the increased prices.

Hi,
At this time, we haven't released a public-facing roadmap outlining our future plans. We do however have our open office hours which are live events where you can ask questions and receive real-time guidance from Lansweeper experts. More information can be found in the follow link and how to register and also past recordings.

Hey David,
sorry but your answer is not very helpful. I dont need open office hours and a real time guidence for this question! Many other Software Company's which running cloud and on prem in parallel have this in their hand, why not you guys? I checked the channel and this was asked already several times by other customers- My company and usercommunity also want to have an outlook and perspective of the future. Could you manage to create such a overview or delegate it to someone from your company who have the audience and can takeup and fulfill the request seriously. Many Thanks Enrico
