Does the help desk have a search query like the asset portion does? Specifically, in Chrome I have the asset search query set as /lansweeper/quicksearch.aspx?q=%25%s that works just wonders for the assets. I am trying to get this to also work with the help desk using /lansweeper/helpdesk/Tickets.aspx?q=%s but all I am returning is ALL my tickets. Does anyone know how to narrow this down to a specific word, or keywords?
The place in Chrome I am referencing is:
Chrome > Settings > Manage search engines > Add
I have tried the following which have returned the same ALL tickets:
/lansweeper/helpdesk/Tickets.aspx?q=%s
/lansweeper/helpdesk/Tickets.aspx?q=%25%s
The place in Chrome I am referencing is:
Chrome > Settings > Manage search engines > Add
I have tried the following which have returned the same ALL tickets:
/lansweeper/helpdesk/Tickets.aspx?q=%s
/lansweeper/helpdesk/Tickets.aspx?q=%25%s

This functionaly already exists in the helpdesk and is used for example when searching from the menu or following specific links in helpdesk widgets. This works similar to the asset search but with different parameters. You can add the 'srch' parameter to immediately go to a search page. The following for example will give you all tickets containing the word 'lansweeper': /helpdesk/Tickets.aspx?srch=lansweeper
Note that this functionality will not immediately direct you to a ticket page if only one ticket was found as is the case for assets.
