VLAN Gateway Ports showing up as separate Linux asset?

In our system we are having individual VLAN Gateway IP addresses scan as unique Linux assets as well as being shown in their assigned network switch. Has anyone dealt with a problem like this before? We are aiming to consolidate our assets and these appear to be duplicates but after we delete the asset they appear after the next scan. Let me know if more information is required!

Email tech support - I vaguely remember it has to do with MAC addresses, and there's a query they can give you that has something to do with MAC exclusions or something, I don't remember.  They should be able to help.
