Hi i am just curious whether it is possible to use dcomcnfg and wmimgmt to configure a remote non admin wmi user to actively monitor devices. In the documentation it does state a local admin account in which works fine although i was interested if others have used a similar implementation.

Thanks

This is something we can't provide support for. It might be possible to define specific permissions to the scanning account, but it can't be guaranteed that this will work and always provide correct scanning results. Some other forum members might have experience with this.

If you cannot provide credentials with administrative privileges, it might be better to scan with our LsPush scanning agent.
