Hi,

I have noticed that the Action WOL is no longer working and seems to have a very similar command tot he rescan assed action. I noticed this on 5.2.0.17 so upgraded to 5.2.0.24 but the issue is still there.

Rescan
http://**/rescan.aspx?type=2&scantarget=3602&scanserver=***

WOL
http://**/rescan.aspx?type=5&scantarget=3602&scanserver=***

I have had a look around the Asset page and I can't see anything other that changing the WOL port (currently on the default 7)

All of the devices I have tested on have WOL enabled and I have used this a lot in the past.

Could you please advise.

The link of this asset action seems to be misleading, but it is correct. "Type=5" will initiate the Wake On Lan command.

We recommend that you verify if
  • your target computer is in the same subnet as your Lansweeper server
  • WOL is enabled on your target computer and uses the WOL port which you also configured under Configuration\Asset Pages, section Wake On Lan
