Being proactive in maintaining the health of your asset inventory is important to prevent device or application downtime, or long-term problems with failing hardware. Lansweeper offers a variety of ways to easily view your assets with scan issues, duplicate conflicts, or vulnerabilities.

View assets with scan issues

You can view a list of your assets with scanning issues through the Assets module's Filters feature.

  1. Go to Assets > Views > Filters.

  2. Select Scan issues from the Field dropdown.

  3. Select an operation and/or value to filter. Select + to add additional filters.

  4. Select Apply.

  5. If you're happy with the view, select Unsaved View > Save as new. If you’d like to revert to the previous view, select Discard changes.

  6. Enter a name for your view.

  7. Select Save as new.

Your view is added to Assets > Views > All views.

View assets with duplicate conflicts

Duplicate assets can be created intentionally or accidentally. Using a filter to see duplicate assets can help you prevent duplication conflicts.

  1. Go to Assets > Views > Filters.

  2. Select Duplicates from the Field dropdown.

  3. Select an operation and value to filter.

View assets with vulnerabilities

You can view detailed information about your assets with vulnerabilities, including lifecycle information, risk score, and affected assets in two ways:

  • In the Risk Insights section of a specific asset.

  • In the Risk Insights module.
