For testing purposes, I added the registry key, rebooted, rescanned my asset in Lansweeper and ran the DCOM hardening settings report but my device still shows as not having the key. Did I miss something obvious?

Make sure to go to the asset's page and click the rescan button. This ensures that a full rescan is done. Otherwise scans adhere to the scanning item interval: https://www.lansweeper.com/knowledgebase/managing-how-often-specific-data-is-scanned/
